Courtenay’s finances are in decent shape, auditor finds

The City of Courtenay’s finances seem to be in decent shape, according to an audit presented to council during its regular meeting on May 13. Courtenay’s total revenues for 2025 were $83.8 million, up from the previous year, which was $78.2 million. The increase was due to some investment income in a couple of areas.
