A court in Groningen ruled that oil and gas company Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij (NAM)—owned by Shell and ExxonMobil—does not currently have to contribute to state compensation for the depreciation of unsold homes in the earthquake-affected Groningen region, NU.nl reported.
