County board to monitor Miller plastic overflow in recycling
GARNER - The Hancock County Board of Supervisors spoke with Chance Sahr from Midwest Waste about issues related to waste disposal and recycling in Miller at the August 11 board meeting. Currently, the amount of plastics being put into recycling is too much to properly dispose. Sahr recommended the idea of reducing the size of the opening in the bin for plastic to dissuade citizens from putting in entire garbage bags of plastics.
