The law requires a prescription to buy and sell drugs, but most drug wholesalers and retailers currently sell drugs without a prescription. This is a serious loophole that allows counterfeit drugs to circulate quite easily.
Dominican Republic.– The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Mipymes (MICM), through the Specialized Body for Fuel Control and Merchandise Trade (CECCOM), dismantled a pharmacy that operated illegally in Salcedo, province Sisters Mirabal.
