Automobile: JTEKT's equipment manufacturer plans 117 job losses on its Irigny site in the Rhône

JTEKT, Toyota's subsidiary car manufacturer, announces a new restructuring plan in France. In Irigny near Lyon, more than a hundred jobs will disappear or almost 10% of the workforce.

On March 26, the JTEKT company presented its job protection plan in Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur. The town's mayor, Guillaume Ruet, Dijon's mayor, Natalie Koenders, and the president of Dijon Métropole, François Rebsamen, spoke about the elimination of 85 jobs at the industrial site.
