Costa Teguise flood prevention works

Lanzarote’s Water Council has commenced cleaning work in the Barranco del Huron. The project, which will last for around three months, has cost €87,800. The Barranco del Hurón is the ravine which channels much of the water from the high inland areas of Teguise to the sea, running past Montaña Tinaguache and the football ground to Playa las Cucharas.
