Construction has begun on a law enforcement training center in Desert Hot Springs.

Desert Hot Springs City Council and City Council members were present to break ground on the police officer training facility near Pierson Blvd. The project includes workspace for detectives and other specialized teams. The facility will play a key role in improving security services, as a fire station will also be built soon.
