The former president of the Departmental Court of Justice (TDJ) of La Paz, Yván Córdova, was arrested this Friday after presenting himself voluntarily to the Prosecutor’s Office, in the framework of the investigations of the so-called Consortium case and claimed to be innocent. Córdova presented her resignation to the presidency of the TDJ four days ago, on Monday, June 16.
Before joining the Attorney General’s Office, the former TDJ holder said he was “innocent.”
Córdova went to the Attorney General's Office at about 11:15 with his lawyer under a strong police guard. Upon entering the offices of the Public Prosecutor's Office, the former president of TDJ said he is innocent.
