Congo-Wildlife Crimes: two individuals arrested for trafficking in two panther hides in Dolisie

The alleged wildlife offenders over the age of 30 were arrested on 22 March 2025 in Dolisie, Niari Department, in possession of two panther hides. Taken in flagrante delicto of detention, circulation and attempted marketing of these panther trophies, an animal species fully protected by law, the alleged offenders were arrested by the officers of the security forces of the Gendarmerie Region.
