Concern over private public partnerships projects for domestic violence shelters

The National Network of Gender Violence Shelters requested, this afternoon, amendments to two bills that, if passed, would turn domestic violence shelters into public-private partnerships, an action that entities fear could put at risk the quality of services they offer to survivors. The organization that groups seven domestic violence shelters appreciated the intention to support shelters that have House Bill 415 and Senate Bill 430.
