An emergency road closure was put in place in Guildford today (November 6) as police dealt with what they described as “a concern for safety” in Egerton Road. A number of police officers attended the scene and Egerton Road was closed in both directions between the Cathedral Roundabout and the Tesco Roundabout. Traffic backed up along The Chase.
