Concentrate 5 States 40% of Remittances

Cd. of Mexico.- 40 percent of the resources of remittances from abroad arrive in Michoacan, Jalisco, Guanajuato, Chiapas and Mexico City. According to the Bank of Mexico, these five entities received in the first quarter of this year 40 percent of the $14.364 million sent to the country. The first three entities received each more than $1.2 billion. And in those five states, remittances revenues are in turn concentrated in a few municipalities. …
