In the Comoros, a new strike begins on Monday 9 March at the El-Maarouf referral hospital in Moroni. Contract agents announced this yesterday at a press conference, calling for the alignment of their salaries with those of civil servants, the upgrading of the guard premium from 6 to 10 euros, as well as access to the pension fund and better working conditions.
