In the midst of the mass presence of local officials and civil society actors, the Bint Jubayl Social Cultural Club in Dearborn City, last Wednesday, held a ceremony in honour of the judge at the Michigan Court of Appeal, Maryam Saad Bazi, from Bint Jubayl in southern Lebanon, who entered history in May last, as the first Arab and the first Muslim to serve as a judge at the second highest court in Michigan, after the High Court of Michigan.
