Commissioners pass resolutions supporting hotel tax, Operation Lone Star

Angelina County Commissioners unanimously approved a resolution supporting the levying of a hotel occupancy tax in unincorporated areas of the county during a special meeting Tuesday.

With a 6-1 vote Monday night, the Stanly County Board of Commissioners passed a resolution which lays out support for “individual freedom” regarding COVID-19 vaccinations.
