Montana Man Gets 8 Months Prison for Pointing Laser at Helicopter During SWAT Standoff

FLATHEAD COUNTY, MONTANA, JUL 30 – Travis Kurt Myers received eight months in prison, three years supervised release, and a $15,000 fine for aiming a laser-mounted gun at a helicopter, authorities said.

A Columbia Falls man appeared in federal court for sentencing for pointing a laser at a police helicopter during a nighttime SWAT standoff.
