College freshman is deported flying home for Thanksgiving surprise, despite court order

The emergency court order arrived hours after she was taken into custody, but Lopez Belloza's parents and siblings lost contact for nearly two days before she called from San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
Pomerleau and the family pledged to challenge the removal as advocates at the American Immigration Council said Lopez Belloza was unaware of a 2017 removal order amid ICE's crackdown this year.
