Postal Workers: We All Gain When We Stick Together!
Take one look at our collective agreements and you will see what we have gained by being united and supporting each other. In the 1960s, male workers supported the struggle for equal pay for female workers in the same classification. We were successful in 1970.
The year 2024 marked a milestone in collective bargaining in the Basque Country, as 67.7% of the working population closed with updated collective agreements, the highest percentage since the 2012 labor reform came into force. Furthermore, at the end of May, the salaried population with updated collective agreements stood at 54.3%, according to data released today by the Basque Labor Relations Council (CRL).
