- Farrell admitted `I had a couple of beers and I went to the set`, but assistant director David H. Venghaus Jr. stopped him, and after asking for six Pacifico Cervezas, they completed 46 takes.
- Despite that tension, Minority Report grossed $358 million worldwide and won Spielberg the Best Director prize at the 2003 Critics Choice Awards.
- Reflecting on films and career, Farrell told The Hollywood Reporter that `I know there's a lot of sequels and there's talk about a lot of sequels and IPs that have been used before and reimaginings and revisitings of worlds. This year I saw Bring Her Back, and then I saw obviously Sinners and the other day I saw Weapons. get really excited when I see original stuff- really, really excited.` He notes this was before rehab and sobriety.
