ADAMS COUNTY –Indiana State Police have closed a cold case involving the murder of 84-year-old Everett Armstrong, who was found dead in his mobile home on County Road 300W just north of State Road 116 on Aug. 19, 1977. State police said Armstrong was found by the fuel oil delivery driver. His death was ruled a murder due to a gunshot wound.
