COLONIE – A Cohoes woman faces charges after allegedly swallowing a quantity of drugs on Thursday, Aug. 7. According to reports, Colonie police detained Stephanie Ashley, 36, near the Family Dollar on Central Avenue at 5:44 p.m., and Ashley said she needed medical attention.
