The Italian espresso is no longer so cheap. In the last five years, the price of a coffee at the bar has risen by 24.2%, and in some areas of Italy it has risen by 1.50 euros. At the opposite pole, in Messina and Catanzaro coffee is still close to the famous 1 euro threshold.
