A 22-year-old Cocoa man died Thursday night when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck a guardrail while traveling on State Road 417 in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.The crash happened around 11:07 p.m. near the State Road 528 ramp.According to a crash report, the motorcyclist was heading south on SR-417 and approaching the eastbound SR-528 ramp.
