Coastal flood statement affecting Essex and Plymouth counties until 2 a.m. Saturday

A coastal flood statement was released by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 1:03 p.m. valid from 6 p.m. until Saturday 2 a.m. for Essex and Plymouth counties.The weather service adds to anticipate, “Large breaking waves of 10 to 15 feet on ocean beaches. Some splashover on vulnerable coastal roads around high tide tonight through Friday night.”
