The first officer of the Queen Jenuvia II ferry lost control of the road and crashed into the mainland off the South Korean coast on Wednesday evening. He was looking at his cellphone instead of at sea. The collision slightly injured 27 people. The Coast Guard has arrested the officer and the helmsman. Both, along with the captain, face charges of assault and gross negligence.
The passengers heard a strong rumbling when the ship landed, about 27 people were slightly injured or dizzy, all evacuated.
