Coach Todd Warriner leaves Tilburg Trappers after one year

Todd Warriner is leaving Tilburg Trappers. The Canadian coach will start as head coach at ESV Kaufbeuren in DEL2. The 51-year-old Warriner succeeded Doug Mason last summer. Todd Warriner's departure comes as something of a surprise. The coach received a phone call from Patrick Reimer, Kaufbeuren's CEO, last week. The two have met on the ice in the past during various games. "I didn't know him personally. Patrick is a big name in the DEL2; he's the all-time leading scorer.
