Latest data shows that the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) distributed over $31.7 million in bonuses in the 2025-2026 fiscal year, including 79 executives and 2,371 non-management employees. The Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF) criticized the large bonuses distributed by CMHC as inappropriate at a time when many Canadians still struggle to afford housing.
