The deal gives CMC customers access to UBEO's broader technology lineup, backed by a 94% first-call fix rate and 97% client retention, officials said.
On Thursday, August 20, 2026, Midland-based CMC Business Systems officially joined the UBEO family, expanding the company's regional footprint in West Texas where CMC has served the Permian Basin for over 70 years.
Ted Holeva founded the company as West Texas Business Forms, Inc., which evolved through decades of growth and eventual rebranding to CMC Business Systems to reflect its expanding product line.
Service quality remains a priority for UBEO, which reports a 94% first-call fix rate, 97% client retention, an 86 Net Promoter Score, and a 4.8 out of 5 stars rating.
Local service will continue for CMC customers, who now gain access to UBEO's full suite of technology solutions, including ECM software and data security, with UBEO President Jim Morrissey noting significant benefits ahead.
The partnership combines local relationships with national expertise, offering what leadership describes as the "best of both worlds" for regional clients, as CMC President Patrick Holeva expressed excitement about the company's future direction.
