- The result positions the Mahayuti to end the Thackeray influence on the Brhanmumbai Municipal Corporation in alliance with the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, while Fadnavis urged elected representatives to act responsibly and transparently.
- The outcome follows last month's first phase win, and 'The verdict reflects the trust of the people of Maharashtra in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the policies pursued by the BJP-led alliance', Fadnavis said amid two phases marked by internal bickering among Mahayuti allies.
