Cloudcroft football aims to field a faster defense

It’s a new 8-man football season and a new defense for the Cloudcroft High School Bears, who are looking forward to starting the year with a clean slate.  Cloudcroft has posted a 1-8 record and an 0-5 mark in district play in back-to-back seasons, and it’s also given up more than 400 points in both of those years.  Last year, Cloudcroft gave up at least 50 points in each of its last five games, and it got outscored 102-0 over its final two games…
