Will reduce staff – union negotiations have begun.
Kappahl Group is initiating negotiations to adjust staffing in parts of its Swedish store organization. There are five stores in Dalarna – but the group has not identified which stores are affected.
Clothing chain Kappahl is laying off staff in 100 stores in Sweden. The reason is fewer customers in the physical stores. It is still unclear whether the store at Torp in Uddevalla will be affected.
Kappahl has put 100 of its stores in Sweden on notice. Negotiations are now pending. “When they are complete, we can say which stores are affected,” says Johanna Flemström, communications manager at the company.
