Cleveland Browns QB Shedeur Sanders hosting fundraiser for Rainbow Terrace fire victims in Cleveland
CLEVELAND, OHIO, JUL 16 – Shedeur Sanders hosted a community event to support more than 40 displaced families after a fire destroyed 44 units, raising awareness and providing free food, music, and activities.
- On July 16, 2025, Shedeur Sanders hosted the Garden Valley Fun Fest at the Rainbow Terrace Apartments complex in Cleveland.
- The fire at Rainbow Terrace Apartments destroyed 44 units, displaced more than 40 families and caused $3.5 million in damages.
- The event featured food trucks, face painting, bounce houses and free haircuts, with local vendors and community groups offering support.
- Ward 5 Councilman Richard A. Starr said he was grateful Sanders showed up, and Sanders and Mike Hall Jr. staged a pickup football game with local children.
- Donors will have a chance to win an autographed Browns football, according to a Red Cross press release, and will receive a Browns shirt while supplies last.
