Cleland won his series and got straight into round 3

Mexican Alan Cleland won his third stage of the CT debut series that is being played in Supertubes, Peniche, Portugal. Cleland competed well, remained active taking many waves to build a score that put pressure on his opponents: Jordy Smith, who finished second and Ramzi Boukhiam, who was third and fell to elimination round.
