CLEARFIELD — The 5th Annual Clearfield County Blue Mass was held on Saturday, May 17 at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Clearfield with the Bishop of the Diocese of Erie, the Most Reverend Lawrence T. Persico, presiding.

Holy Rosary Church and Holy Rosary School gathered May 5 for a Blue Mass to recognize Taylor County Law Enforcement, fire services, emergency medical services, emergency management services and veterans. Holy Rosary’s Student Council organized the Mass; pastor Fr. Patrick McConnell blessed the emergency workers and, following the Mass, their emergency vehicles.
