Civic Media Adds Two Stations in Central Wisconsin
Civic Media is buying two more stations in central Wisconsin, adding to a station the company already owns in the area. According to an asset purchase agreement filed with the FCC, Civic will pay Hometown Broadcasting $1.4 million for WAUH/102.3 (Wautoma), WRPN/1600 (Ripon), and WRPN translator W226CQ/93.1 (Ripon). Civic Media continues its growth in Wisconsin as it acquires Full Service Soft Oldies “93.1 The Wave” 1600 WRPN/93.1 W226CQ Ripon and Oldies “102.3 The Bug” WAUH Wautoma from Thomas Boyson’s Hometown Broadcasting for $1.4 million.
