The dishonest competition for leadership, positions and privileges created a state of dispersion, indifference, irresponsibility and lack of national/religious sentiment among Christians (Chaldeans, Syriacs and Assyrians), in addition to attempts to contain and marginalize them politically and legislatively, all of which led to an inevitable end result, which was their extinction from their original homeland.
