Arrest of 4 CHP members for insulting Erdoğan

President Erdoğan spoke at the 28th Ordinary General Assembly of MÜSİAD. Erdoğan attacked the CHP with the words, “While tensions in our region and the world are so high, we hope that they will turn back from the mistake of adding fuel to the fire.”

CHP Kemalpaşa Youth Branch President Mehmet Deviren and three other people, who were detained in İzmir on the grounds that they wrote articles against Erdoğan, were arrested.

An investigation has been launched into the writings on the streets of Izmir containing insults towards President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. CHP Kemalpaşa Youth Branch President Mehmet Deviren and 3 others, who were detained by police teams at night, were arrested for insulting the President.
