5 New Members Elected to the HSK in the Turkish Grand National Assembly: Among Them Is the Member Who Signed the Can Atalay Decision of the Supreme Court of Appeals 3rd Criminal Chamber

A total of 238 MPs in the Parliament submitted a petition for the registration of TİP Hatay MP Can Atalay, who has been held in prison for nearly 3 years despite the Constitutional Court decisions, to the TBMM register.

In the TBMM General Assembly, Fuzuli Aydoğdu, Hakan Yüksel, Seyfi Han, Cengiz Aydemir and Alişan Tiryaki were elected as members of the Board of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK)

The new members of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) were determined as a result of the voting held in the General Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly. In the election, which was concluded by drawing lots, five names from the high judiciary and the legal community were elected as HSK members.

The CHP Group collectively left the TBMM General Assembly, stating that there were irregularities in the election of the Joint Commission before the elections to determine the HSK members.
