We don't expect a cholera outbreak, said Marek Waszczewski, spokesman for the Chief Sanitary Inspector, referring to the suspected cholera infection of a patient in Szczecin. He added that those under quarantine and epidemiological supervision did not exhibit any alarming symptoms.
No symptoms of cholera were observed among those who had already completed quarantine after contact with the 78-year-old woman from Stargard. This information was provided by the district sanitary inspector.
