Chiu Chui-cheng, Chairman of the Mainland Affairs Council of the Republic of China, pointed out that the Chinese Communist Party is the biggest threat to peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait and the Asia-Pacific region. He called on Beijing to stop distorting UN General Assembly Resolution 2758 and World War II historical documents and abandon its attempt to use force to force changes to the status quo in the Taiwan Strait.
