[Beijing Kyodo News] The Xichang Satellite Launch Center in China's Sichuan Province experienced an "anomaly" in the rocket's flight during a satellite launch on the 17th, causing the launch to fail, according to the state-run Xinhua News Agency. The cause is under investigation. The satellite failed at 12:55 a.m. on the 17th (1:55 a.m. Japan time).
