In the "new" diocese of Hebei established by Leo XIV today the two ceremonies were held with which the authorities officially recognized two clandestine bishops. The Holy See: "relevant step in the path of communion." But Beijing puts in their mouth (falsely) the usual thesis on the independence of the Church in China and patriotism sowing already weeds with the faithful of the communities that the move should serve to unite.
