China lowers anti-dumping tariffs on European pork exporters
China's Commerce Ministry set tariffs from 4.9% to 19.8% on EU pork imports for five years, easing from previous rates and allowing duty avoidance by meeting minimum prices.

- The move occurs as the EU runs a trade deficit of over 300 billion euros, alongside probes into dairy and brandy, and, as Even Rogers Pay said, `This outcome reflects 18 months of concerted efforts to find a negotiated solution to this issue and a number of other trade disputes between China and the EU`.
