Comac has delivered the regional jet C909 to the airline Lao Airlines. This was notified by the company. The C909 was handed over under a lease agreement. Some preparations were still necessary before the start-up in Laos, the Chinese aircraft manufacturer explained.

COMAC delivered its first C909 to Lao Airlines. This is the country’s first Chinese-made airline in service. The aircraft is under a lease from COMAC. Currently, 162 aircraft of this model have been delivered, with 645 routes in operation, connecting 158 cities, and safely transporting more than 20 million passengers.
