Natural de Colasay, province of Jaén, in Cajamarca, the educator and poet Cesarina Vásquez Torres studied the specialty of Literature at the National University of Cajamarca, where she had as professors notable academics and writers, such as the poet Manuel Ibáñez Rosazza, the technologist César Paredes Canto, the researcher and critic Luzmán Salas Salas, the master Zoilo León Ordñez, among other outstanding teachers.
