Children from the day care center interact with the elderly in Itoman Kitanamihira, a first attempt to spread smiles over two hours of exercise and kendama

[Itoman] Seven children aged 6 to 18 who use "Wajun," an after-school day care center for children in Awane, Itoman city, interacted with five elderly residents for the first time at a community center in Kitanamihira Ward, Itoman city, on March 21. Overcoming the age gap, they tried square steps, which require players to step in a set order on a mat divided into squares, and kendama, and had a great time.
