Tele-Onthaal is receiving increasing numbers of calls during the summer months. For example, the number of calls in July rose by almost 4 percent compared to the same period last year. The number of men and young people contacting the service is particularly high. "We sense a strong undertone of loneliness in the conversations," says content director Leen Devlieghere.
