KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI, JUL 21 – Rice was sentenced to 30 days in jail and ordered to pay $115,000 in medical expenses after a high-speed crash injuring multiple people, but will fully participate in Chiefs camp.
- On Sunday, July 20, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid announced that Rashee Rice will fully participate in training camp at Missouri Western, Missouri.
- Rice pleaded guilty on July 17 to two third-degree felony charges related to a March 30, 2024 multi-car crash causing serious injuries, leading to his sentencing.
- Reid said the team will proceed as normal with Rice while closely monitoring his recovery from a knee LCL injury sustained in Week 4 last season.
