Chicoutimi: three charges of attempted murder after the attacks at the restaurant La Belle et la Boeuf

The suspect arrested Wednesday at the restaurant La Belle et la Bœuf in the Chicoutimi sector, in Saguenay, will finally face five charges.

The man arrested in connection with the knife attack that occurred Wednesday afternoon at the restaurant La Belle et la Boeuf, located near the Place du Royaume shopping center, appeared at the Chicoutimi courthouse on Thursday at dinner time. Ahmed May faces three counts of attempted murder, as well as two counts of assaulting police officers and obstructing and resisting his arrest.
