Chicken Corn Dogs Recalled After Wood Found in Batter
Foster Poultry Farms recalled 3.8 million pounds of chicken corn dogs after five reported injuries from wood pieces embedded in the batter, with products distributed nationwide.
- On Oct. 4, 2025, Foster Poultry Farms recalled approximately 3,843,040 pounds of chicken corn dog products that may contain wood pieces embedded in the batter, FSIS announced.
- FSIS said it learned of the problem after a consumer injury complaint, and Foster Poultry Farms received multiple complaints including reports of five injuries.
- Products were produced between July 30, 2024 and Aug. 4, 2025 and bear establishment number P-6137B, covering many Foster Farms varieties including gluten-free and jumbo items.
- Consumers are urged not to eat the recalled Foster Farms corn dogs and to discard or return them, while FSIS will post retail lists and conduct effectiveness checks.
